# Get Started

In order to set up an SD2PSX card, follow these steps in order:

  1. Install the latest firmware
  2. Format your microSD card
  3. Learn to navigate the menu
  4. For PS2 only: Deploy CIV
  5. For PS2 only: Set up a softmod exploit
